The annual parade at Strathmore Elementary was a big hit.
Folks lined up by the dozen to register and to receive a prize.

Fire trucks came,

and brave firemen, too!

And kids, lots of kids!

On bikes                                                                 and in fancy cars!

and in patriotic floats galore!

The competition was just fierce!

But Linda and Max and lots of neighbors kept order, kinda. After all, it WAS the 4th!

The crowd got BIGGER AND BIGGER,

Uncle Sam arrived,

and then the parade began! What a great display of patriotic spirit.
